TLC Electronics does not control the use of the products it sells and therefore offers no express warranties beyond the product descriptions provided. All implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
Because TLC cannot control how products are used after sale, it is not responsible for any consequential or indirect damage. As a distributor of products manufactured by other companies, TLC limits its liability to the guarantees or warranties provided by the original manufacturer and passes those warranties through to the customer.
No warranty applies to products that have been altered or modified after delivery.
COO Policy Statement
TLC Electronics is committed to responsible sourcing. Our manufacturers report the Country of Origin (COO) of their materials in accordance with regulatory requirements and due diligence guidelines.
- Manufacturers are expected to extend this requirement throughout their supply chains to verify the COO of conflict minerals
- Manufacturers who fail to comply with these requirements may be restricted from future business with TLC Electronics
Conflict Minerals Policy
TLC Electronics, Inc. is committed to responsible sourcing and ethical manufacturing practices. We support global efforts to eliminate the use of conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance armed conflict, human rights abuses, or environmental harm.
Scope
This policy applies to all products manufactured or distributed by TLC Electronics and to all suppliers providing materials or components used in our manufacturing processes.
Conflict Minerals Defined
“Conflict minerals” refer to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (“3TG”) that originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries and may benefit armed groups.
Our Commitment
- We do not knowingly source conflict minerals that fund armed conflict or human rights violations.
- We expect our suppliers to source minerals responsibly and in alignment with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals.
Supplier Expectations
- Establish policies and management systems addressing conflict minerals.
- Trace the origin of 3TG minerals in the products they supply.
- Provide accurate and complete conflict minerals reporting upon request (e.g., CMRT).
- Cooperate with audits or inquiries related to conflict minerals compliance.
Due Diligence
TLC Electronics engages in reasonable country-of-origin inquiries and relies on supplier declarations to assess compliance. When risks are identified, we work with suppliers to encourage corrective action or alternative sourcing.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to ongoing improvement in supply chain transparency and responsible sourcing practices. This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as regulations, standards, or business practices evolve.
Fraud
Any attempt to commit fraud or engage in criminal activity through, or to gain unauthorized access to, TLC’s website or systems will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
