Shipment Method
All orders ship F.O.B. St. Paul, MN 55115, USA, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by an authorized TLC representative. Customers are responsible for selecting their preferred freight carrier and providing a valid freight account number. Any duties, taxes, or fees associated with the shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipment Damage
We package all merchandise to meet carrier requirements. However, once a shipment leaves our facility, claims for loss or damage must be filed directly with the carrier by the customer. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If concealed damage is discovered after unpacking, contact the carrier promptly to request an inspection. Failure to do so may result in the carrier denying the claim.
Force Majeure
TLC Electronics is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill orders due to events beyond our control, such as material shortages, transportation issues, labor disputes, natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, delivery times will be extended accordingly, or TLC may cancel affected orders with notice to the customer, without liability.
Order Changes, Cancellations, and Returns
Once accepted, purchase orders are binding contracts and may only be modified with the mutual agreement of both the customer and TLC Electronics. Requests to change delivery schedules, quantities, or other order details will be reviewed, but TLC reserves the right to decline such requests. All custom products are strictly non-cancellable and non-returnable (NCNR).
If a manufacturer or supplier allows cancellation or return of material, TLC may consider the same. In such cases, the customer is responsible for:
- Supplier cancellation charges
- TLC handling fee of 20% of the cancelled material’s value
All returns require prior approval from an authorized TLC Representative. Returned materials must have a valid Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number and be in their original packaging and resalable condition. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
- Contact Customer Service to initiate an RMA, or our team will assist you through the process.
Replacements or credits will be issued at TLC’s discretion following inspection. Credit or replacement will not be provided for materials damaged in transit due to improper packaging by the customer.
TLC Electronics does not control the use of the products it sells and therefore offers no express warranties beyond the product descriptions provided. All implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
Because TLC cannot control how products are used after sale, it is not responsible for any consequential or indirect damage. As a distributor of products manufactured by other companies, TLC limits its liability to the guarantees or warranties provided by the original manufacturer and passes those warranties through to the customer.
No warranty applies to products that have been altered or modified after delivery.
COO Policy Statement
TLC Electronics is committed to responsible sourcing. Our manufacturers report the Country of Origin (COO) of their materials in accordance with regulatory requirements and due diligence guidelines.
- Manufacturers are expected to extend this requirement throughout their supply chains to verify the COO of conflict minerals
- Manufacturers who fail to comply with these requirements may be restricted from future business with TLC Electronics
Fraud
Any attempt to commit fraud or engage in criminal activity through, or to gain unauthorized access to, TLC’s website or systems will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
